Company Environmental Policy

The Company shares the belief that it is the fundamental right of everyone, to exist in an environment of clean air, land and water and are aware of their responsibility to protect the environment for present and future generations.

In support of this belief, the Company is committed to the establishment of practices and procedures, which effectively control environmental performance, drive continual improvement, and work towards the prevention of pollution. In particular the company is committed to:

• Complying with current environmental legislation, and other requirements, as relevant to the Company's activities, products and services, and where possible adopt a pro-active stance to meet future requirements ahead of time.

• Formulating and upholding response plans for dealing with emergency situations in order to prevent pollution and minimise environmental impact in the event of an accident.

• Ensuring that all employees are aware of the Company's environmental policy and the impacts of their activities on the environment, through staff training and awareness.

• Maintaining a waste management programme controlling the generation, segregation and disposal of waste materials and continually looking for ways of reducing and reusing waste from production activities.

• Evaluating the Company's packaging regularly, striving to reduce the environmental impact (per unit) and liabilities associated with the methods used.

• Conserving natural resources through more efficient use of energy and materials used by the Company's processes during manufacture, storage, administration and distribution.

• Working with our suppliers to encourage the establishment of sound operating practices which minimise overall environmental impacts and work towards upholding ethical and social standards as specified by the company.

• Work towards improving the condition of the environment.

• Regular monitoring and review of the Company's environmental performance, practices and procedures to facilitate the identifcation and implementation of improvement initiatives.

By setting objectives and targets, and by taking positive action to achieve these, the Company aims to uphold the commitments stated in this policy and improve environmental performance on an ongoing basis.
